House. Circa 1600 and clad C18, extended late C20. Timber framed
on ragstone base and weather boarded with plain tiled roof. Two
cell lobby entry plan in origin. Two storeys and hipped roof with
residual gablets and central stack. Large projecting 2 storeyed hipped
extension to centre. Two wooden casements on each side and 1 on end
wall of projecting hip on each floor, and boarded door to right return
of projection. Catslide outshot to rear. Interior: large inglenook
with brick-domed bread oven and salt-shelves: full frame exposed,
with simple chamfered beams.
