House. Late C18. Brick with ashlar dressings. Stone slate roof. Two
storeys. 3-bay symmetrical facade. Central, giant sunk panel whose round-
arched head almost fills the crowning pediment and contains a Diocletian
window. Distyle Tuscan portico. Doorway with overlight. Flanking 2-storey
canted bays with 12-pane sashes. Central 12-pane sash to 1st floor with flat
arch. Ground-floor sill band. Band between floors and at base of pediment,
continuing as an eaves cornice to each side. Gable copings continue as a
moulding across the broad, tall brick end stacks with ashlar caps. 2-bay
addition to right, in keeping, has blind ground-floor windows, ground-floor
sill band, band between floors and another at eaves which sweeps up at the
centre and continues across a tall lateral brick stack.
