II
House, now separate dwelling and offices. Early C19, incorporating a mid c18
house at left, with later alterations. Rendered limestone with ashlar dressings;
roof Welsh slate. 2 storeys, 11 windows (3, 5 and 3). Central door under oblong
fanlight in shallow Greek Doric porch; canted bays at each end defined by 4
giant pilasters. Ground floor, modern fixed lights and first floor sashes with
glazing bars, have projecting stone cills. Eaves cornice bracketed on pilasters,
higher central block. Hipped roof on canted bays. 2 corniced panelled end
chimneys on central block, and one on each ridge behind canted bays. Interior:
main roof of left wing has cupboard with 2-panelled door and shaped shelves.
