Presumably 1739 with C.19 additions and alterations. Coursed rubble.
Irregular plan. Stone mullion windows up to 7 lights and later ones
with transoms.
Robert Crosland II, cardmaker, built the earliest part of the house in
1739. The Crosland family played an important part in the activities
of Quakerism in the area, and many travelling ministers are thought to
