Mill building, now house, and house. Early-mid C19, probably 2 builds. Coursed
squared stone, stone slate roof. No 79 2 1/2 storeys, plus basement, 3 bays; No 75 3
storeys, 1 bay. South front: No 79: raised quoins and bands to each floor.
Openings have raised plain stone surrounds. Basement: blocked 3-light flat-faced
mullion windows flank stair up to central C20 glazed door with overlight. Window
above door has swept shouldered architrave. 2nd-floor windows shorter, the
central one blind. C20 casements throughout. Shaped gutter brackets. Shaped
kneelers, coping. Stacks to left end and ridge. No 75, set back on left: quoins
to base. Plain stone surrounds to openings, windows with flat-faced mullions.
Steps to door on left; 4-light window to right. A 2-light window to lst and 2nd
floors. C20 glazing throughout. Plain gutter brackets. End stack to left.
Rear: No 79: raised quoins and bands. On ground floor a transomed 3-light window
and 2-light window with shorter window inserted. lst floor similar, cill of right
window raised; taking-in door on right. No 75 has C20 door to left on ground
floor; on lst floor a 4-panel door on right (at ground level) and 2-light window
above. Right return (No 79): 3 bays, style as front; central door (now window),
with window above as front and keyed Venetian window to gable.
