Present exterior mid-to-late C17. Built of rubble. Thatched. 'L'-plan. Left
hand wing is a 1 1/2 storey cottage with 2 eyebrow dormers, one blocked, and 2 windows
with timber lintels, 3 light casements. Central door and 2 brick chimneys joined
by tiles to rear of older block.
Right-hand wing is a gabled 2 1/2 storey and cellar cross wing with 4-light windows,
cellar window of 3 lights (mullions). Gable for chimney to join with cottage.
Interior: cottage has throughpassage and 2 inglenooks, one blocked. Formerly
an open hall, retains 2 smoke-blackened crucks (not seen on inspection, but vouched
for by VCH). Ground flour entrance to north wing has Jacobean paired doorway,
original door to left, former cellar door to right.
