Farmhouse, now detached cottage. Mid C17, late C17 added bay. Square-panelled timber-framing with brick nogging and wattle and daub, front rebuilt in Flemish bond, half-hipped thatched roof, brick stacks. Gable end to road. Originally 2-bay with one room heated, kitchen and bread ovens added. Single storey and attic, 2 windows. Planked door to right of centre, in beaded case with gabled porch, 2-light casement to right, 3-light casement to left and C20 casement to left. First floor is hung with bullnose tiles, two eyebrow dormers with 2-light casements. Left return has two 2-light casements, one in blocked door to right, to left in outshut is C20 door, attic has two 2-light casements. Right return is stretcher bond brick facing of timber-frame, C20 door to ground floor, 2-light casement to first floor and attached C20 conservatory. Rear wall retains exposed timber-framing with wattle and daub infill of panels, two 2-light casements to ground floor, two 2-light wooden mullioned windows, one blocked, to attic, to right is small outshut, partly over C18 brick bread oven. Interior has chamfered beams with defaced bar stops, open fireplace with chamfered lintel with bar stops, and bread ovens, planked doors with strap hinges, winding stairs to west of fireplace.
