5/31 The Sheiling
GV II
Cottage. C17. Timber framed with brick and flint gable. Thatched
roof. Single storey and attic. Main block with short wing on left
containing side entrance. Framing 3-panels high with corner braces
to wing only, which has a lean-to built around external wing stack.
Right gable is of brick laced flint and contains principal stack
and blocked low opening. C20 timber paned windows, but first floor
leaded.
