Orangery. Dated 1749 but in character probably c1874. Ashlar with glass roof.
Single storey, 5 x 2 bays. Each bay has a tall round-arched window with imposts,
date over central window. Cornice - interior: roof supported on cast-iron columns,
plain at front, at rear chamfered and with decorative ironwork in the spandrels.
Similar in style to gate piers and lodges (nos 192 and Porter Lodge (qv)) on
Rochdale Road which are dated '1749 rebuilt 1874'.
