Farm house, now house. c1710. Red and blue brick in English
bond, with tiled roof. Two storeys and attics and cellars.
Central square block of double pile plan, with service extension to
left added 1732, and wing on right, set back and extending to rear,
built c1931. Main elevation of 5 bays, symmetrical, with flush
red brick quoins and 3-course projecting plat band. Central half-
glazed door over 3 rounded steps and 2-light overlight, flat canopy
with panelled soffite on metal brackets. Twelve-paned sashes
with segmental heads and boxes flush with brickwork. Moulded
brick eaves to front elevation only, dentilled to sides and rear.
Three-paned dormers with hipped roof to front, two to rear. C20
wing has paned windows with top lights, and matching brick
dentilled eaves. Rear elevation rewindowed C20. Service wing
single storey with bay added to rear. Roof hipped around central
valley.
Interior: some original fielded panelled doors and 2 original
fireplaces. Stair at rear of through hall, continuous from ground
to attic, mid C18 with turned balusters and square newels, possibly
introduced.
