House in row, formerly butchers shop and farmhouse. C18.
Colourwashed greensand rubble, tiled roof replacing thatch. Two
storeys and cellar, 3 wide bays, the right bay a rebuild of later
C18. Central four-panelled door and combined window under hipped
slated canopy. Right bay has brick quoins and plat band. Twelve-
paned sashes with moulded frames. Four-light sashes to ground
floor. Gable stacks. Continuous pantiled lean-to to rear, and 2-
storey later C19-early C20 wing on right rear. Interior not seen,
may be of interest.
