Parish church. Medieval; considerably restored 1864 and 1874. Nave, chancel,
west tower, north porch, south vestry. Random flint and stone rubble, stone
dressings; the nave and chancel have remains of old plaster to the north and
are cement-rendered to the south; plaintiled roofs. C15 tower with 3-stage
diagonal buttresses to the west face and a C19 crenellated parapet; panelled
flushwork to plinth and buttresses; 2-light west window, 2-light bell chamber
openings. C15 nave with 2-light windows, probably renewed, 2 to north and one
to south; blocked C15 south doorway. Porch dated 1864. North wall of chancel
with one possibly C13 lancet window; the remainder of the chancel has been
entirely rebuilt. Nave and chancel with mid C19 arched-braced roofs. Mid C19
font and furnishings. The south chancel has an early C18 wall monument with a
scrolled pediment. Graded II* for medieval work, principally the tower.
