1854-55 by C.E. Davis of Bath, Early English style. Low cruciform stone building
with tower to south west. Gabled buttresses, coped verges end tiled roof. Staggered
lancet triplets to gables. Pointed entrance with wrought iron work on door at
west end and another below tower. Fine 3 stage tower with corner butresses. (Octagonal
gabled arcade to upper stage having head stops to coping (one a death's head),
corner pinnacles, short spire and weathervane over. Square middle stage with paired
subdivided lancets, side piers and gabled buttresses plus gablets on angles with
foiled arches on shafts en delit. Heavy lower stage with subdivided pointed arches.
Interior interesting for its ribs unattached to vaults and supporting post to
ridge of roof.
