Farmhouse. C16, in 2 phases; restored c.1940. Timber framed and plastered,
pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3 cell plan. C20 casement windows
with diamond leaded glass, in C16-C17 style; 3 apparently original diamond-
mullioned windows at first floor level (2 of them at the rear). 2 boarded
and battened doors, one to the cross passage and one forming a lobby entry.
Internal stack. The interior has good exposed framing and joists, an arched
brick fireplace in the parlour and a panelled screen against the cross
passage. Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology Vol.24 pp.1-19.
