House and shop, earlier C19 ashlar fronted with slate mansard roof
and north end stack. Two storeys and attic, 3-window range. Three
C20 dormers. Moulded cornice, formerly with balustraded parapet
over. Three first floor plate glass sashes in architraves with
cornices over side windows and pediment over centre. Ground floor
has fine projecting shop front with fluted Ionic columns framing 3-
pane shop window each side of recessed central door. Frieze and
cornice over, continued to right over door to No 26 with overlight.
Rear has three 12-pane dormers, rear wing to left with C18 pair of
2-light cyma-moulded first floor windows in east end wall. Main
range to right has similar first floor 2-light window over C19
canted bay window.
