Farmhouse. C17 and C18. Timber framing with brick infill on rubble plinth;
limestone rubble with brick quoins; old plain-tile roof with brick stacks.
3-unit plan extended to T-plan. One storey plus attics; 2-storey rear wing.
5-window front has 3-unit timber-framed range, to right, with 2 rubble bays of
separate builds, to left. Entrance is in centre bay with 2- and 3-light
casements at ground floor and 3 gabled half dormers. 2 casements have panelled
shutters. Roof, which is half-hipped to right and hipped to left, has a ridge
stack between the right bays. Rear of the earlier range has a central gable with
a Sun Insurance plaque. Rubble rear wing has segmental-arched casements.
