Marked as No 17 on OS Map.
House. Dated "W" over "RE 1724". Built of freestone; slate roof, end chimneys,
modern brick on ashlar bases. Two storeys and gable lit attic. Two windows, early
C19, 16-pane sashes, central half-glazed door with deep shallow open pediment hood
on large scroll brackets. Fire insurance mark removed. Gabled projection to rear
(? stairs) with 6 rows of pigeon-holes and strings in gable. No 23 is attached to
No 21 (qv).
