Circa 1796. Right hand part 2 storey. Left hand part 3 storey. Ashlar stone
front on projecting double stepped plinth. Side piers and cill bands form rectangular
compartments on each floor. 3 storey part has 2 windows to 1st and 2nd floors
and 3 windows to ground floor (1 blind with sash rebate). Moulded cornice and
parapet with moulded coping. The right hand part projects as angular bay with
3 windows on 1st floor, 2 on ground floor, and 6-panel central door with arched
fanlight of curved and circular pattern, stone architrave on moulded springers
and doorhead flanked by Doric pilasters, all set in a recess, approached by 4 steps.
Fine wrought iron work now destroyed.

Nos 51 to 60 (consec) 60A and 61B form a group with No 62 (Castle House) and
Court House. No 51 is of local interest,
