Primary school with attached schoolmaster's house. Dated 1834 over doorway;
later rear additions. Flint pebbles with yellow brick rusticated quoins and
window surrounds. Roof of glazed black pantiles. Single storey school with
2-storey house to left. 6 windows to school, 2-light C20 casements.
Asymmetrical doorway set slightly forward: boarded and battened door with
rectangular panel over; above this is a stone inscribed 'The Wrentham National
Schools Established AD. MDCCCXXXIV'; over the entrance is a semi-circular
arched bell gable surmounted by a dog, the crest of the Gooch family. 3
gabled dormers with decorative bargeboards. Internal stack of cruciform plan
and gable end stack to right. The house is in matching style and contemporary
with the school.
