Shown on 1838 Tithe Map. Symmetric 'Hi' plan. Tudor style almshouses. 2 storeys,
coursed and dressed stone. Projecting gabled breaks to sides linked across centre
by loggia arcade on ground floor. Central half dormer. All 3 gables parapetted
with moulded cope and kneelers. Slate roof except for stone tiles on right hand
gable. 2 large off ridge stone stacks. Each gable has a 3 light window to 1st
floor and 4 light window to 1st floor and 4 light to ground floor:- 4 centre arch
headed windows with labels; glazing bar casements.
Central pointed doorway flanked by 2 light windows of similar pattern. Porch loggia
of 3 pointed arches to stone flagged shelter; chamfered drip, parapet and moulded
cope, panel over central arch with shield, shell in 1 and 4 and griffin in crest.
Projecting single storey wings to left and right with blocked 4 light windows,
and doorways of similar pattern.
