Outbuilding, possibly former banqueting house. Probably C16, lead guttering
dated 1674 to down-pipe heads. Stone rubble plinth with curved brick coping;
stone coursed rubble to ground floor; close studded timber-framing to first
floor with rendered infill; old plain-tile roof. 2 storeys and attic; 2 and a
half-bay range. Plank door to right of centre with moulded wood 4-centre arched
doorway with decorative spandrels. Regular fenestration of 2-light wood ovolo
mullion windows with leaded lights. Interior: probably Cl9 straight-flight
staircase with winder to base from ground to first floors, with C17 pierced
baluster balustrade. C20 straight-flight staircase from first floor to attic.
Double-queenpost roof with windbraces. Ground floor has chamfered spine beam and
joists with end stops, and a panelled dado.
