Row of 6 cottages, now 3. 1853, by G.E. Street. Coursed limestone rubble,
limestone ashlar window and door dressings, brick quoins; Welsh slate roof;
limestone ashlar sta:ks. Originally built as row of 6 'one up, one down'
cottages. One storey and attic, 6-window range. Segmental arches and splayed
jambs to 3 plank doors; other doorways blocked and casements inserted in them
c.1970. Segmental arches over chamfered stone-mullioned 2-light leaded windows.
C20 casements to 5-gabled roof dormers with slate hung sides. Gabled roof, lower
ridge height to right half of building; gable end and 2 ridge stacks. Left gable
wall has 2 similar first floor windows and a coat of arms without achievement
set in square tablet at top of wall. Similar windows and C20 casements blocking
original doorways to rear wall, which has late C19 casement to left. Interior
not inspected.
