Bridge, gate piers, gates and moat wall. Tudor substructure to
moat wall with C18 upper section; C18 bridge and gate piers;
early C20 gates. Coursed rubble with ashlar coping to wall,
squared and coursed dressed stone to bridge, ashlar to piers and
wrought iron and timber to gates. 1.5 metres high run of wall
extending from former stable range to left (q.v.) to north-west
corner of moat: copings ramped up to gate piers in the centre.
Gate piers 2 metres high with rustication and ball finials; 2-leaf
gates with timber panels. Single arch span to bridge with coped
side walls.
