A C15-C16 timber-framed and plastered building with a wing faced in gault
brick extending to the east at the north end. The south end, below the
gable, is faced in gault brick. Roof tiled. The east front of the main
block has a jettied upper storey on curved brackets with moulded capitals
of former shafts. Two storeys. Casement windows. There is a large ridge
chimney stack with sawtooth shafting on a rectangular base. The interior
has good exposed beams and ceiling joists and there are small wall paintings.
