GV II
Barn. Early C18. Timber box-frame structure set on rubble plinth,
clad in weatherboarding and with a stone slate roof. T-shaped
plan of 5 bays with north midstrey. Roof is half-hipped to ends
and has a ridge saddle stone and copper weathercock; half hip to
midstrey. Interior. Original butt-purlin, collar and tie-beam
roof and stone flags to floor. The barn had recently been repaired
with an internal concrete sunk frame on resurvey (August 1986), but
the exterior cladding remained in a very poor state of repair.
