3/81 Pettifers and boundary walls
GV II
Detached house. Early C19. Squared and coursed rubble with
flush rusticated dressed stone quoins, flush dressings to windows
and gabled stone slate roof with end stone stacks. Two-storey and
attic, 3-window street front. Windows are 12-pane sashes; 3
hipped dormers with small pane 2-light casements and further attic
window to south wall. Central doorway with tented lead canopy on
open latticework supports and panelled door with 2 rectangular
lights. Squared and coursed rubble boundary walls with dressed
stone copings to street ramped up at ends and with central gate
entrance: square piers with pyramidal caps and simple wrought iron
gate.
