GV II

House, early C19 incorporating earlier building, painted ashlar
front with stone tiled roof, coped gables and end wall stacks. Two
storeys to front, 3 to rear. Four-window front range with moulded
cornice and parapet. Three upper 12-pane sashes and one escape
door, 2 ground floor 12-pane sashes, centre door and to open
segmental arches to left. Rubble stonework with 3-light mullion
window within arcade. Rubbled stone building to left with coped
gable and end wall stack. One bead-moulded mullion window to rear
of C18 type. Main range rear has small fragment of dripmoulding at
ground floor ri-ght end: Rebuilt as part of the extensions to the
private asylum at Kingsdown House recorded from the C18 but stated
in 1815 as having been in existence for 200 years. (W.Parry Jones:
