Early C19, former bailiff's lodge (to Leighton House) said to be later C19.
2 storeys. Red brick with stone plinth, cills and lintels. Hipped slate
roof with 2 off ridge chimneys. 3 windows on 1st floor, 2 on ground floor,
glazing bar sashes. Central doorway with stone brackets to flat hood, door
with 3 moulded panels, running dog pattern to lintel and lozenge glazing to
overlight. Dwarf stone wall to front garden with rusticated end piers and
spear head railings and flame-type dog rails, central gate. Stable set back
to right. Brick with hipped gable end (slate roof) to road. Segmental headed
coach doors with 2 light casement over.
