House. C17, later C17 left bay; remodelled in late C18. Originally
timber-framed, clad in late C18 random bond repointed brick. Half-hipped old
tile roof; brick rear lateral stacks. Original 3-unit plan. 2 storeys; 4-window
range. C20 door and rendered porch. Horned sashes and C20 window over C20 bow
windows. Interior: quartered and chamfered beams. First floor has timber-framed
partition to left, and central jowled post to chamfered tie beam. 3-bay
queen-post roof with clasped purlins. Mid C18 cottage (Nos.50 and 52) to rear
left, of one-storey and attic, 5-window range: flint rubble with brick
dressings, and gabled old tile roof and brick ridge stacks; C20 door, C20
windows except 4 late C19 ground-floor casements. Interior not inspected.
