C16-C17 altered. 2 storeys. Stone, pebble-dashed on street front. Pantile
roof having coped gable end to North with brick chimney. Edward Street elevation
has gable to left hand (moulded wooden roof plates now obscured). 1 window
on gable to off centre, flush framed glazing bar sash. 3 light window
on ground floor with higher centre light [see similar windows in Warminster],
late glazing; also a small modern door to right hand. The right hand part
(No 44) has a glazing bar sash on 1st floor and on ground floor a mid C19
shop front with glazed double door and plate glass sash window. Stone gable
end to Westbourne Road with off-set over ground floor. 2 storey brick extension
to rear in 2 stages, gable end half hipped containing hipped dormer to attics.
Older rafters, heavy oak purlins, trusses and wind braces survive under present
roof of front part of house.
