5/42 The Old Vicarage

Parsonage house, now a furniture store and flat, 1838. 2 storeys. Gault brick
front and rear, random flint and brick sides. End chimneys: tumbled gables:
slate roof. 3 window range: small-paned sashes in deep reveals. Central entry
with semi-circular arched head: Double 3-panel door with fanlight over. Ceased
to be a vicarage in 1970. The building contract with plans and specifications
is in the Record Office at Bury St Edmunds, (Ref. 1322/4/49).
