Two houses, c1700, ashlar fronted with Bridgwater tile roofs, end
stacks and ridge stack between. Three storeys, three window range
each. No 269 has obscured ground floor, first floor sashes with
hoodmoulds in frames of former stone cross windows and one second
floor 3-light hollow-moulded mullion window, flanked by later plain
windows. No 270 has original moulded plinth and dripcourses, but
ground floor refaced in C19 with door flanked by paired sashes.
Original first floor recessed cyma-moulded stone cross windows,
second floor plain casement pair each side. Two storey rear
elevations to road.
