Malt house, now house. C17, extended C20. Timber framing with colourwashed brick
infill, brick and rendered walls; thatch roof with brick stacks. 3-unit plan,
extended at ends and at right angles. One storey plus attics. Irregular front
with C20 wing projecting. Original range has one plank door and a dormer. Rear
wall is rebuilt in C18 brick and retains a C18 leaded 3-light casement. Roof has
2 old stacks. Interior: inglenook fireplace with flanking winder stair; C17
beams and joists; clasped-purlin roof with straight and curved windbraces.
