Former farmhouse, mid C16. 2 storeys. 3-cell cross-entry plan. Timber-
framed and plastered. Concrete tiled roof, hipped at both ends (formerly
thatched). An axial early C17 chimney of red brick with sawtooth shaft. Mid
C20 casements of 2 lights; some diamond mullioned windows of C16 restored and
glazed. C20 panelled entrance door at cross-entry position; original doorway
with shallow 4-centred arch. Complete C16 framing exposed. Back-to-back open
fireplaces: the chimney was rebuilt in early C17,the original chimney being
smaller.
