TL 98 SE KNETTISHALL

House, now divided into 2. Late C16, with early C19 extensions at each end. 2
storeys. Timber-framed, faced in C19 white brick: the extensions in flint
rubble with red brick quoins. Clay pantiled roofs. Internal chimney-stack
with a plain rebuilt red brick shaft. Basic 2-cell lobby entrance plan. 2/3-
light casement windows with a single bar to lights to both storeys of main
house, and one to western extension. An enclosed gabled porch with a door at
each side. Main ceiling-beams exposed inside.
