House. C16 with a C17 addition probably replacing an earlier range,
remodelled mid to late C19. Timber framed with painted brick infill,
partly replaced by painted brick; plain tile roofs; brick ridge
stacks and integral end stack. C16 wing to south-east aligned north-
east/south-west and a C17 range to the north-west aligned north-west/
south-east, with C19 out-shut to south-west. 2 storeys; 3 windows,
gabled wing to left with barge boards and finial, 4-pane casements,
ground floor bay window to left. South-east elevation: C20 casement
to ground floor left, early C19 casement to first floor centre;
central door. Framing: Tall rectangular panels exposed on first floor.
Interior: C16 wing has chamfered ceiling beams and very wide chamfered
joists; C17 range has chamfered and stopped beams and joists and the 4-
centred head of a chimney-piece dated 1680 with plaster foliage decoration;
some exposed timber framing in the original rear wall.
