Disused barn, probably built as threshing barn. Circa late C16/early C17. Stone
rubble walls. Gable ended double Roman clay tile roof with clay ridge tiles. Single
room plan with central threshing floor. Right-hand end formerly had loft over.
Single storey, formerly with loft. Asymmetrical front with wide doorway to left of
centre with double stable doors. Narrower door to right. To right of centre is
small gable with square loft hatch. Left-hand gable end has pitching opening at
first floor level and original tiny owl-hole in apex with triangular head. Rear
elevation has single narrow doorway. Interior has original roof structure unusually
complete. It consists of substantial straight principals with straight morticed
collars and tie-beams, threaded purlins and one tier of windbraces.
