Formerly one, now 2 cottages. Mid-C18 with late C17 origins aiiu early C19 and
C20 alterations. Slobbered rubble, stone dressings, slate roof. Former lobby-
entry plan. Garden front: 2 storeys, 3 bays. Entrance to Bridge End left of
centre in porch with reset mid-C18 moulded surround, segmental arched lintel
and segmental arched leaded roof; C20 door. 3 early C19 ground floor windows,
plain surrounds, C20 sashes except right-hand window which was cutdown to form
C20 entrance to Bridge House. 3 upper floor windows have mid-C18 moulded surrounds,
C20 sashes. Shaped eaves modillions. C19 gable end and left of centre ridge.
stacks. Rear: segmental arched stair window with intersecting glazing bars.
Interior massive late C17 chimney breast to former central fireplace. Dog-leg
staircase, open string, stick balusters, ramped handrail. On internal upper
floor wall is wooden panel inscribed in red, with black outline: Cl Al 1697
in late C17 style.
