Wrongly marked as The Manor House on Ordnance Survey map. House and
railings with gate piers and gate. House: mid late C18; railings: early C19
House: roughcast rubble, stone slate roof. Double-depth plan, 2 storeys and
attic, 3 bays. Central door of 6 fielded panels in ashlar doorcase with
pilaster bases and capitals, rounded inner corners to lintel, moulded
architraves, pulvinated frieze and cornice. Sash windows in ashlar
surrounds. Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping. Ashlar end stacks with moulded
bases and dripmould. To left and right, single-storey extensions, not of
special interest. Rear: ashlar quoined doorway with moulded arris; 2-light
flat-faced mullion window; round-arched landing window in ashlar surround
with imposts and keystone. Left return: window in gable. Right return:
casement window in double-chamfered ashlar surround in gable. In front of
house, wrought-iron spiked railings and matching gate, with urn finials to
standards. Ashlar gate piers, slightly chamfered, with ogee caps.
