House and shop, now house. Mid-late C18 possibly altered C19. Coursed
rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Plinth. Raised quoins. Central
part-glazed door below overlight with lattice glazing bars in architrave with base:
Above door, stuccoed panel flanked by fluted pilasters, and on first floor, 4-pane
sash window in architrave matching that of door. To left of door, possibly
contemporary tripartite shop window: the central light formerly a door, now
a C20 window imitating original outer lights each of 9-panes; in ashlar
surround with flat-faced mullions, the verticals continuing down as
classical bases flanking dado panels; above, plain frieze and overhanging
cornice. Other windows: 4-pane sashes in thinner architraves; first-floor
windows have moulded under-sills. Dentil cornice. Shaped kneeler to left;
moulded ashlar copings. Ashlar end stacks, partly rebuilt in rubble to
right.
