Farmhouse. Late C17, with mid C19 renovation and C20 rear extension. Walls of
malmstone ashlar with brick dressings (high plinth, quoins, rubbed flat arches,
1st floor band), part rendered, some coursed flint with brick dressings, some
tile-hanging to the upper floor. Hipped tile roof, flat at rear (replacing catslide);
shafted central stack. Main windows are sashes in openings with lowered cills,
other windows casements. Two-storeyed gabled porch, the upper part (mid C19)
jettied and tile hung (with patterned bands), above an old ground-floor which has
an opening filled with turned wood balusters: plain door. The west elevation
(facing the road) appears symmetrical, of two storeys two windows, with rendered
walls and sashes.
