Early C17, late C17, C18. A small cottage with a timber frame of 2 bays, a massive
tapered chimney stack attached to the north gable, and a small addition to the south in
brickwork. One-storey and attic, irregular fenestration. Tile roof, ½-hipped at the
south end, 2 hipped dormers with cills at eaves level. Brick walling in English bond,
some painted and some plastered, plinth; the upper south gable has exposed framing.
Casements, 2 old C18 leaded lights. Boarded door in solid frame, with a modern open
porch. The building lies within the ditches of a medieval moated farmstead.
