5/25 Barn at Gander Down Barn

Barn, C17. Timber-frame clad in weatherboard and corrugated iron. 3 bay aisled
barn with midstray to one side in centre, and added outshot to other side in
centre and one end bay and lower shed attached to that end. Roof half hipped at
end with shed attached. Queen post roof with continuous purlins, cambered ties,
curved braces and windbraces, posts on brick piers with aisle plates and aisle
ties to wallplates.
