House and modern ground floor shop insertion. Mid-late C18. Narrow uniform
grey brick, on the front with rendered east gable end wall. Plain tiled roof
with west gable stack. Plain three brick tabled eaves cornice and band
between storeys. Two storeys and attic. Two gable dormers. Original first
floor window openings, include two cross frame casements and a blind window
opening. Ground floor openings have been remodelled. Two modern shop fronts
and doorway. At the rear there is a stair turret with parapetted gable.
Similar narrow gault brick. Inside: few original internal features remain.
The upper three flights and two landings of the staircase are original. Toads-
back rail, square newel but boarding conceals the balustrade.
