Forecourt railings and walls. Late C18. Rubble, cast and wrought iron.
Circa 20 metres of spear-head railings with urn newels and linked intermediate
lower rails, all on a plinth between pairs of narrow piers which flank matching
gates; at the right (north) the wall rises to c.2 metres, 2 rusticated jambs
and a capped lintel frame a diamond panelled door, the wall then sweeps back to
a pair of square, rusticated piers at the entrance to the stables (q.v.).
