SU 42 NW HURSLEY BUNSTEAD LANE

4/16 Shawlands Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Late C18 extended C20. Brick with slate roofs. Rectangular
double pile block with E range slightly longer, and wing added to end C20.
Garden front 2-storey on cellar, 5-bay, with projecting C20 wing at left end.
Plinth with heads of blocked cellar lights. 2:1:2 facade of narrow centre
bay with blind openings and 12-pane sashes in other bays. Segmental head
openings with stone or moulded brick sills. Wide eaves to low pitched
hipped roof with stack to right of centre. Left wing has similar sashes, a
dentilled cornice and parapet. Inside of c.1800 including reused doors etc.
