House. Circa 1500. Timber-framing and brick with tile roof. Hall, at right,
of one storey with attic. Front wall close-studded with middle rail. C20
window towards left. Gabled attic dormer. Lean-to against right-hand gable
wall probably on site of screens passage. Gabled cross-wing at left under
repair at time of survey (May 1986), with frame partly dismantled. Projecting
chimney stack against left-hand wall. Interior: chamfered main beam of inserted
ceiling in hall lodged on middle rail of front wall. Central truss of hall said
to have arch-braced collar.
