the following paragraph shall be added to the list description:
Interior: Front rooms have moulded plaster cornices with acanthus and running
vine decoration, the left hand room with elliptically arched alcove with
reeded architrave and C20 chimneypiece, the right hand room with Victorian
chimneypiece. Segmental hall arch with ornate architrave and open-well stairs
at back with cut string, shaped tread ends, stick balusters and moulded mahogany
hand rail wreathed over column newels. Rear left room has larger stone Litchen
fireplace. Plaster cornices on first floor. Most of the original joinery
survives including panelled window shutters and panelled doors but the original
chimneypieces have been removed.

Small country house. Late C18. Ashlar, double-span slate and concrete tile roof, late C19 brick stacks, coped verges
ramped up to the stacks. Regency villa; symmetrical front; 2 storeys, 3 bays, 12-pane sash windows to ground floor,
9-pane sash windows to first floor; ground floor windows in shallow segmental arched recesses with rail for
horizontally sliding louvred shutters, now missing; first floor sill band, moulded cornice, parapet with coping.
Central 6-panelled door, top 4 panels glazed, stone doorcase with pedimented entablature on 2 engaged Tuscan
columns.
