Milestone. Probably early C19. Limestone. Rectangular with rounded
top, partly submerged in soil and undergrowth at time of resurvey (May 1986).
Cast-iron plate has inscription "TO / ELLESMERE 9", possibly with further
inscription beneath, not visible at time of resurvey.
