and service wing

G.V. II

House. 1766 and early C19 with late C19 additions. Coursed and
squared ironstone and brick with limestone ashlar dressings and
slate roofs. Chamfered plinth, quoins, 2 coped gables with
kneelers, 3 brick gable stacks. 2 storeys plus garrets, 4 bays.
South side has 3 bay front with single bay wing to right. Front
has central C19 gabled porch with panelled door and overlight,
flanked by single glazing bar sashes with rendered lintels, that
to the right being larger. Above the door, a smaller glazing bar
sash flanked by single slightly larger sashes. Between the
sashes to the right, a small datestone inscribed 'Anno Domini
1766'. Service wing has on each floor a glazing bar sash. West
gable has a small garret casement to right with segmental head.
East gable has to right, a blocked garret casement.
